Custom Knurled Brass Threaded Inserts For Plastic Parts

Plastic threads can wear out after repeated tightening. A brass threaded insert solves this problem by adding a durable metal thread inside the plastic component. This type of insert is usually pressed into a pre-formed plastic hole by heat or ultrasonic equipment. After installation, the outer knurling grips the surrounding plastic and helps improve holding strength.
