1. Testing matters
1. The inspector should check the appearance and outer diameter of the copper insert of the meter box according to the drawings assigned by the manufacturer.
2. When checking the copper insert of the meter box, use the corresponding thread plug gauge. After checking the thread in the copper insert of the meter box, the small end is passed through the inside. If the large end cannot pass the internal thread If the hole is passed, the inspection is passed. If it passes, it is failed. (Generally, 100 copper meter inserts in the same batch are selected for testing)
2. Inspection appearance
1. Check whether the material used for the copper insert of the meter box is brass. If the material used is incorrect or doped with other materials, it will be returned directly because the quality of the copper insert for the meter box.
2. Whether the appearance of the copper insert of the meter box is clean and free of impurities such as copper foam and there are no obvious scratches and rust on the appearance can indicate that there is no problem with the appearance. (Note that after the copper insert of the meter box is opened, moisture-proof treatment is required to prevent the occurrence of copper rust after opening)
Note If you check the copper inserts of the meter box, if they are not qualified, you can draw 100 and then check again. If the phenomenon still fails, you can return the goods to the manufacturer.
