A Small Rivet Built Around the Setting Process
The appearance of an unset rivet does not determine how it will perform after installation. Its hollow-tail depth, wall section and exposed length must work together with the assembly hole and riveting tool.
When properly matched, the tail forms against the rear side of the assembly while the original head remains seated on the front surface. This makes semi-tubular rivets useful in products where assembly space is limited or where a permanent joint is preferred.

Possible Configurations
The component may be supplied with a flat, rounded or low-profile head. The shank can use a fully hollow or semi-tubular structure, depending on the required setting behavior.
Brass is commonly selected for its formability and appearance. Copper and other copper alloys can also be evaluated when the application requires a different forming response or surface condition.
For prototypes or special geometries, CNC turning may be suitable. Cold forming can be considered for repeat production after the dimensions and order volume are confirmed.

Please confirm the assembly-hole diameter, combined material thickness and available riveting tool. These details are more important than selecting the rivet by outside diameter alone.
Where the formed shape is critical, sample setting should be completed with the customer's actual components before batch production.
