Are K Lock Nuts Reusable?
This depends on how they were initially used. If they were used with a material that damaged the teeth, or if the nut was over-torqued and the teeth bent out of place, the locking power will significantly decrease. Carefully inspect the fastener to see if the teeth are in good enough condition to facilitate the appropriate locking mechanism.
