Jack Nuts

Jack nuts are a special kind of fastener that works great in thin or fragile materials where regular fasteners might not work. They're designed to create a strong, lasting connection that can even be reused. The cool thing about these inserts is that they have a hollow body that turns into four wings when you install them. This lets them grip the material from behind without damaging it or making it warp.

These fasteners are really unique because they're perfect for lightweight, thin, or brittle materials. When you put them in, the body flattens out on the back side and forms "legs" that hold tight inside the material. To get them in right, you'll need a special tool.

In general, jack nuts are often used in construction or machinery. They're great for connecting two parts securely. Sometimes people call them expansion inserts or rivet nuts.
