Custom Brass Square Head Hollow Threaded Studs with Axial Bore for Mechanical Assemblies
Turn-milled brass hollow studs featuring a long external thread, axial center bore and square drive head. Thread size, bore diameter, head dimensions, overall length and end structure can be manufactured according to drawings or mating components.
Product Overview
This component combines the fastening function of an externally threaded stud with an internal axial passage. The square head provides a holding or anti-rotation surface during installation, while the long threaded body offers an adjustable engagement range.
Depending on the assembly design, the center bore may be used for cable passage, fluid passage, component positioning or weight reduction. The final application should be confirmed from the customer's drawing because visually similar hollow studs may have different functional requirements.
Manufacturing Method
The cylindrical body, center bore and external thread are produced by CNC turning. The square head is subsequently milled to the specified width and height. Chamfering and deburring are applied to protect the first thread and both openings.
For long, thin-walled versions, the relationship between outside thread diameter and bore diameter should be reviewed before production to prevent deformation during machining and installation.
